我代表英国甘肃总会欢迎你！
首先，我要向所有关注关心、支持鼓舞我们的海内外各界朋友表示由衷的感谢！尤其感谢甘肃省各级领导和各界朋友、英国政产学研各界人士以及大量的热心公益、团结奋进的侨胞同乡们的关心、鼓励、帮助和资助，正是因为有你们作为坚强后盾，英国甘肃总会的成立、成长和发展才会如此顺利和充满活力。
英国甘肃总会是一个旨在促进英中交流尤其是英国与甘肃及其兄弟省份各级各界交往，推动两地经济、文化、教育等多领域合作发展的非盈利性公益组织。通过英国甘肃总会，我们希望能够让世界上更多的人走近甘肃、了解甘肃、热爱甘肃，进而爱上中国；能够为在英国的各界朋友提供一个交流交往、共襄繁荣的有益平台，帮助大家更好地融入英国社会，生活越来越好；能够为架起英中两国各领域合作发展的桥梁发挥价值，贡献应有之力。
甘肃是生我养我的故乡，对故乡、对祖国我有着深沉的热爱和期待，我渴望她的每一草每一木都能不断繁荣、文明、昌盛。英国是我学习生活和工作的地方，这里的人民淳朴热情，时常令人感动。但重要的是，英国汇聚了大量的同胞同乡同仁，他们与人为善、勤勉谦谨，他们在不同的领域努力发挥价值，吃苦耐劳、力求卓越。身在异乡，大家共通的一点是，无不心系故乡，无不常念乡情。
通过公益事业纽带，围绕共同美好目标，凝聚所有能凝聚的志士同仁合力而为，我相信，照此砥砺坚持，在推动两地双向繁荣的路上必定会有英国甘肃总会的积极身影和卓越贡献。这正是我发起并组建英国甘肃总会的初衷。
我亲爱的朋友，你也许来自甘肃，或者你对甘肃素有情谊、回忆、期许或愿望，那么，英国甘肃总会就是你温暖的归宿，欢迎你加入我们的探索，与一个不断向内聚焦、始终开拓进取的公益组织一起，共建共享共荣。

My dear friends,
On behalf of UKGSA, I welcome you!
First, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to friends from all walks of life, both at home and abroad, who care about, support, and encourage us! In particular, I wish to thank the leaders at all levels and individuals from various sectors in Gansu Province, those in the UK government, industry, academia, and research, and the numerous overseas Chinese who are passionate about public welfare and united in forging ahead for their care, encouragement, help, and funding. It is precisely because of your strong support that the establishment, growth, and development of the UKGSA have been so smooth and full of vitality.
The UKGSA is a non-profit public welfare organisation that aims to promote exchanges between the UK and China, especially those between the UK and Gansu and its sister provinces, and to foster cooperation and development in the economy, culture, education, and other fields between the two sides. Through the UK Gansu Association, we hope that more people worldwide can get closer to Gansu, understand Gansu, love Gansu, and subsequently fall in love with China. We aim to provide a beneficial platform for friends from all walks of life in the UK to communicate and share in prosperity, helping everyone better integrate into British society and improve their lives. And we committed to contributing value in building a bridge of cooperation and development between the UK and China across various fields.
Gansu is the hometown where I was born and raised. I have deep love and expectations for my hometown and the motherland. I hope every blade of grass and every tree there will continue to prosper, be civilized, and flourish. The UK is where I study, live, and work. The people here are lovely and warm, which is always touching. The important thing is that the UK has brought together many compatriots from my country who are kind, diligent, and modest, striving to play their value in different fields, enduring hardships, and striving for excellence. Living in a foreign land, everyone has something in common: they all care about their hometown and often miss it.
Through the bond of public welfare undertakings and around a common goal of sound, we gather all people with lofty ideals and colleagues who can unite to work together. I believe that, with this kind of perseverance, there will be positive figures and excellence from the UKGSA on the road to promoting the two-way prosperity of both sides. This is my exactly original intention in initiating and forming the UKGSA.
My dear friend, you may be from Gansu, or you may have friendship, memories, expectations, or wishes for Gansu; then the UKGSA is your warm home. You are very welcome to come back and work together with UKGSA, the pioneering and enterprising non-profit organisation, to build, share, and prosper together.
